As a part of nature’s cycle, wood eventually breaks down and becomes soil. Moisture, insects and microorganisms quickly help themselves. There are no exceptions!
The part that is still in contact with the soil is inexorably broken down quickly. That is, unless it has been treated to withstand rot. Fyrås Trä does what nature itself does not do. We treat wood so that is withstands rot for many, many years.The impregnation is done with, for respective markets, approved wood preservatives. We are in connection with NTR and use pressure impregnation according to their rules, which also means that we are under the control of the Technical Research Institute of Sweden (SP).
