We take a long-term approach to the forest, the climate and the people around us. Using northern Swedish pine, quality-assured pressure treatment and clear documentation, we aim to make it easy to choose sustainable wood products for fencing, infrastructure and outdoor environments.
How we work with sustainability
For us, sustainability is part of everyday operations. We focus on three areas:

Climate and life cycle
We use life cycle assessments and environmental product declarations to show the actual climate impact of our products. This makes it possible to compare different materials and make smarter choices for the climate.

Our raw material comes from responsibly managed forests. With a high level of traceability and clear procedures, we can meet the requirements of both authorities and our customers.

How environmentally friendly is pressure-treated pine?
A life cycle assessment carried out by IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute shows that NTR Class A pressure-treated pine has better environmental performance than several alternative materials used for fencing and horse enclosures. The study compared pressure-treated pine with materials including plastic, Siberian larch and robinia.
The results show that NTR Class A is often the best choice in terms of climate impact, acidification and eutrophication. This confirms that Swedish, locally sourced pine in NTR Class A is a good choice for outdoor applications such as fencing, posts and decking.
